Anchor Health Properties Acquires Grove City, Ohio MOB
Anchor Health Properties closed on a two story, 38,327-square-foot Class A medical office building (MOB) in the Grove City submarket of Columbus, Ohio. The off-market transaction was acquired through Anchor’s discretionary equity fund, Chestnut Healthcare Fund II, co-managed with Chestnut Funds. Engle Real Estate provided sales advisory services on behalf of the seller, Trivium Development LLC, for this off market transaction. First Citizens Bank and CIT provided debt financing services. Chicago-based private equity firm Waud Capital Partners has acquired Fusion Healthcare Staffing for an undisclosed price. In connection with the deal, Waud Capital Partners, in partnership with healthcare executives Bales Nelson and Allen Dye, has formed Fusion Health. Fusion Health will offer staffing services to healthcare facilities, providers and health plans, working to help with a variety of episodic clinical resource needs through technology-focused services. Espire Dental Expands Colorado Presence
Espire Dental, a portfolio company of Denver-based private equity firm, Rallyday Partners, announced on March 23 that it acquired Fox Creek Family Dental, a nine-physician dental practice. Fox Creek Family Dental provides dental care from Longmont, Loveland, Broomfield, Thorton and Westminster, Colorado. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Denver, Espire Dental is an integrated dental organization with more than 20 practices across Colorado, California, Oklahoma and Wyoming. SonderMind Acquires Mindstrong’s Tech Assets
SonderMind, a Denver, Colorado-based digital mental health company, is acquiring Mindstrong’s remaining technology assets in a deal that will end the latter company’s six-year run in the mental health space. Mindstrong stopped providing service to patients on March 10 and closed its Menlo Park, California headquarters. SonderMind will hire approximately 20 of Mindstrong’s employees. Miltenyi Biotec, a Bergisch Gladbach, Germany-based company, announced on March 22 that it acquired lino Biotech. Miltenyi Biotec purchased 100% of the shares from investors such as Switzerland-based Roche Venture Fund and Germany-based Hightech-Grunderfonds. Endodontic Practice Partners (EPP), a portfolio company of Cincinnati-based private equity firm RC Capital, acquired 14 endodontic practices based in Washington and Oregon, adding 16 providers to its network. In Oregon, 13 doctors across 12 practices were acquired. The practices serve the Tualatin, Corvallis, Albany, Eugene, Gresham, Portland, Salem, Oregon City and the Beaverton areas. Montecito Medical Real Estate announced on March 22 its acquisition of a 14,600-square-foot ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in Granbury, Texas. The property is 100% leased to Baylor Scott & White Surgicare in Granbury. Physicians at the multispecialty surgery center, which includes four operating rooms, perform gastroenterology, neurology, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, urology, pain management and podiatry procedures.
