OrthoAlliance, a physician-led management services organization (MSO) for orthopedic groups, announced a new partnership with Precision Orthopaedic Specialties, Inc.

Precision Orthopaedics brings a team of 10 physicians and three offices to its partnership with OrthoAlliance. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1991, Precision Orthopaedic Specialties was the first fully specialized independent orthopaedic practice in Geauga County. In addition to a main office in Chardon, Precision Orthopaedics has locations in Auburn and Middlefield that offer orthopaedic surgery, spine surgery, sports medicine, podiatry, physical therapy, imaging, athletic training, pain management and chiropractic care.

OrthoAlliance was formed in 2019 in partnership with Beacon Orthopaedics and Revelstoke Capital Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm. Beacon’s management team leads the MSO’s operations. OrthoAlliance’s partner practices feature more than 180 physicians across all orthopedic and sports medicine specialties. It has more than 2,000 employees.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 13th orthopaedic acquisition of 2023. By comparison, there were five orthopaedic deals announced between January 1, 2022, and March 22, 2022.
