Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center Sells Baton Rouge, Louisiana Surgery Center
Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center sold its ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in the same city for $8.95 million. The Lake Surgery Center was sold to Perkins Plaza Development, represented by orthopedic surgeon Larry “Chip” Bankston, MD. According to the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 27th ASC acquisition of 2022. Established in 2002, Lake Surgery Center is a 23,000-square-foot facility. TriSalus Life Sciences, a privately held oncology therapeutics company focused on the treatment of liver and pancreatic tumors, announced on November 14 it had entered into a definitive merger agreement with MedTech Acquisition Corporation, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company focused on medical technology.
