Boca Raton, Florida-based Sage Dental announced it acquired two dental practices in Florida, marking Sage Dental’s third transaction of the year.
Sage Dental, a portfolio company of Linden Capital Partners, is a leading dental service organization. Sage Dental provides comprehensive non-clinical business and administrative support services to more than 70 affiliated Sage Dental practices in Florida and Georgia.
The two practices offer the latest conveniences of a modern dental practice, including teledentistry screening appointments, virtual check-ins, online scheduling, paperless billing and more. The practices are in Wesley Chapel and Tampa, Florida.
The acquisition of these two practices marks the eighth and ninth practices to be purchased by Sage Dental in 2022. Following the acquisitions, Sage Dental operates eight dental offices in the Tampa and Lakeland area. It also now operates more than 85 practices in total throughout Florida and Georgia. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 555th Physician Medical Groups transaction of 2022, 189 of them in the dental subsector. Some of the most active dental acquirers this year include MB2 Dental Solutions (36 deals), Dental Care Alliance (11 deals), Guardian Dentistry, (10 deals) and Gen4 Dental Partners (7 deals).
