LifePoint Health Subsidiary Acquires Springstone
LifePoint Health and Springstone announced on August 29 they have entered into a definitive agreement for a subsidiary of LifePoint to acquire a majority ownership interest in Springstone, which has 18 behavioral health hospitals and 35 outpatient locations across nine states. The transaction is expected to be finalized in early 2023. Medical Properties Trust will continue to own a majority of Springstone’s real estate locations and retain its minority stake in Springstone’s operating company. BrightView Health, a Cincinnati-based outpatient addiction treatment provider, has acquired Arlington, Massachusetts-based Column Health, which operates a network of 12 community-based outpatient mental health and addiction clinics throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Greenbrook TMS Inc., a leading provider of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy in the United States, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, TMS NeuroHealth Centers Inc., will acquire all the issued and outstanding equity interests in Success TMS from its parent company, Success Behavioral Holdings LLC. Nationwide provider Foresight Mental Health acquired Psychiatric Addictive Curative Therapies (PACT) Atlanta LLC, a multidisciplinary mental health practice that is headquartered in Decatur, Georgia. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Berkeley, California, Foresight Mental Health provides in-person and virtual services such as psychiatry, therapy, neuropsychology and TMS across 25 states.
