NavaDerm Partners, LLC, a portfolio company of BelHealth Investment Partners, LLC announced that it was selling two of its New Jersey practices to Schweiger Dermatology Group (SDG). The practices are Millburn Laser Center and Scherl Dermatology. Millburn Laser Center provides dermatology care out of one location in New Jersey. According to its website, the practice has five providers on staff. Scherl Dermatology is a four-physician practice that operates out of one location in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Medicare Advantage programs and ancillaries are bringing in big bucks and new buyers. On August 19, Centerbridge Partners, L.P. announced its acquisition of GoHealth, LLC for a reported $1.4 billion from Norwest Equity Partners, the second-largest managed care deal in 2019, so far. The company is a leading provider of Medical Advantage products in the direct-to-consumer channel.
