NavaDerm Partners, LLC, a portfolio company of BelHealth Investment Partners, LLC announced that it was selling two of its New Jersey practices to Schweiger Dermatology Group (SDG).
The practices are Millburn Laser Center and Scherl Dermatology.
Millburn Laser Center provides dermatology care out of one location in New Jersey. According to its website, the practice has five providers on staff.
Scherl Dermatology is a four-physician practice that operates out of one location in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
Founded in 2010, SDG is the largest group dermatology practice in the Northeast, with more than 90 offices and more than 300 healthcare providers in its network. SDG provides medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology services to more than one million patients annually. It is backed by LLR Partners and SV Health Investors.
Brown Gibbons Lang & Company served as the financial advisor and Moomjian, Waite & Coleman, LLP served as legal counsel to NavaDerm. The practices officially began operating under the SDG umbrella on December 11, 2023. The financial terms were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 498th Physician Medical Group transaction of 2023, and the 28th in the dermatology specialty. This is also SDG’s fourth acquisition of the year.
