DocMJ has acquired Medwell Health and Wellness Centers. The headquarters for DocMJ and Medwell will be in Clearwater, Florida, where DocMJ has operated since 2016. Medwell Health and Wellness Centers will continue to operate under its current brand name, which has been recognized by patients in Massachusetts since 2015. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Medwell Health and Wellness Centers are medical cannabis evaluation clinics serving patients in Massachusetts and Florida. Agilon Health announced on February 28 that it acquired Family Practice Center, PC. Xtant Medical Holdings, Inc. announced that it purchased the product lines of Coflex and Cofix from Surgalign Holdings, Inc. for $17 million. The deal closed on February 28, 2023. UBS Investment Bank served as the exclusive financial advisor and DLA Piper LLP served as legal counsel to Surgalign. Fox Rothschild LLP served as legal counsel to Xtant. LifePoint Health, a subsidiary of RCCH HealthCare Partners and Apollo Global Management, announced on March 2 that it purchased four rehabilitation facilities for an undisclosed price. The facilities have a combined workforce of 500 staffers and each facility has 36 rooms. The facilities are in Longview and Temple, Texas, Cincinnati, and Rogers, Arkansas.
