Confluent Health, a portfolio company of Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group, announced on February 1 its newest partnership with MOTION PT Group. The partnership brings Confluent Health’s national footprint to 609 private practice clinics in 35 states. The partnership will allow MOTION PT to maintain its existing branding while gaining access to Confluent Health’s ecosystem of management services as well as education and musculoskeletal health resources. Confluent Health Strikes Fourth Deal in 2021

With the backing of Partners Group, the physical and occupational therapy firm Confluent Health just announced its fourth deal of the year, acquiring Manual Edge Physical Therapy for an undisclosed sum. Manual Edge Physical Therapy is a private and therapist-owned physical therapy practice. It offers a diverse list of services including treatments for back and neck pain, extremity pain, concussion, headache, TMJ, and other facial pain as well as specialties specific to women’s and men’s health. It’s been an incredibly busy January, and deal volume continues to pile up. Investor interest in physician groups has swelled in particular, as we reach 36 deals and counting. It’s not surprising to find new deals weeks or months down the line, but EyeCare Partners announced a bunch of transactions from the second quarter — five to be exact — last week. EyeCare added Vitreous Retina Macula Specialists of New Jersey (Somerset, New Jersey), Foothills Eye Care (King, North Carolina ), 2020 Vision Care (St. Louis, Missouri), The Retina Clinic (Mine Hill, New Jersey), and Patel Retina Institute (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania).
