Christie & Co., a leading specialist advisor for buying and selling businesses in Britain, announced that it closed the sale of King Dental & Associates Limited. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. King Dental & Associates Limited is based in Carnforth, England. It is a five-surgery NHS dental practice with four physicians on staff. South Bend Medical Foundation Acquires ChartPro
On April 29, South Bend Medical Foundation (SBMF) announced that it acquired ChartPro. ChartPro is a medical records administration business based in Atlanta with an electronic health record (EHR) platform. SBMF provides pathology and blood services out of three locations in the South Bend, Indiana MSA. According to its website, there are 18 pathologists on staff and a total of 140 employees. Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany announced that it is acquiring SpringWorks Therapeutics, a Stamford, Connecticut-based commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on severe rare diseases and cancer. Crown MedRealty Partners, based in Kansas City, Missouri, announced its further expansion in Ohio with the acquisition of a medical outpatient building (MOB) in Dayton. The MOB comprises 13,000 square feet. The facility is fully leased to CVP Physicians Dayton, a leading provider of full-service ophthalmology care, specializing in cataract surgery, retina care, glaucoma treatment and LASIK.
