Charlotte, North Carolina-based Medical Manufacturing Technologies (MMT) has acquired Confluent Medical Technologies’ equipment manufacturing group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Medical Manufacturing Technologies, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, is a global provider of medical device manufacturing solutions. MultiCare Health System Expands Reach in Washington
MultiCare Health System, a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Washington, has acquired a new hospital in the state. The health system purchased Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, a 226-bed hospital in Yakima, Washington, which has a population of approximately 100,000. The hospital also owns primary care practices, a cancer care center called North Star Lodge, Ohana Mammography Center, a hospice and respite care agency called Cottage in the Meadow, a pain management center, the only level-3 NICU in central Washington and Children’s Village, which provides advanced services for children with special health care needs. Endodontic Practice Partners (EPP) announced on November 3 that it acquired North Dallas Endodontics, a practice with 11 locations in the Dallas MSA and 14 doctors. Backed by RC Capital, Endodontic Practice Partners is a network of private endodontic practices. EPP was founded in 2019 and is based in Brentwood, Tennessee. With more than $750 million of capital raised, RC Capital is a growth equity firm that actively seeks companies to add to its $200M Fund VI portfolio. Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. reported a revenue decline during the third quarter. Barcelona-based Werfen announced on November 3 its acquisition of Immucor, Inc., a Norcross, Georgia-based provider of transfusion and transplantation diagnostic products worldwide, from San Francisco-based private equity firm TPG Capital. This acquisition will allow Werfen to expand its portfolio of specialized diagnostics solutions for hospitals and clinical laboratories.
