Bavarian Nordic Acquires Emergent BioSolutions’ Travel Health Business for up to $380 Million
Bavarian Nordic has acquired Emergent BioSolutions’ travel health business for up to $380 million. Upon closing of the transaction, Bavarian Nordic will pay Emergent $270 million in upfront cash consideration. Bavarian Nordic will also pay Emergent up to $30 million in sales-based milestones associated with commercial products and up to $80 million in development-based milestones associated with the CHIKV VLP program.
