On April 2, First Fertility announced that it was expanding into California with the purchase of Fertility & Surgical Associates of California. Fertility & Surgical Associates of California is a fertility practice internationally recognized as a leader in advanced fertility treatment. It operates out of three locations in California. Kentucky Counseling Center Acquires Flourish Psychotherapy
Kentucky Counseling Center (KCC) announced on April 3 that it entered into an agreement to acquire Flourish Psychotherapy. Flourish Psychotherapy is a mental health counseling center in Cincinnati, Ohio. It also serves the Columbus, Ohio area. KCC provides mental health counseling out of three locations in Kentucky. Physician Growth Partners (PGP) announced that it acted as an advisor to The Woman’s Group in its sale to Femwell Group Health. The Woman’s Group is a leading OB/GYN practice with four locations Florida: two in Tampa, one in Lutz and one in Riverview. According to its website, the practice has 29 providers on staff. Intermountain Medical Imaging announced on April 1 that it is acquiring Saltzer Health Imaging from Saltzer Health. Saltzer Health Imaging is an imaging center located in the Ten Mile Clinic and near I-84 in Meridian, Idaho. This news comes the same week Saltzer Health announced the sale of three facilities to Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System after the group was closed March 29 by Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health. OptumHealth Acquires Stewardship Health
UnitedHealth Group announced that one of its divisions, OptumHealth, has entered into an agreement to acquire Stewardship Health from Steward Health. Stewardship Health is Steward Health’s physician network. The deal includes primary care doctors and other providers across nine states, including Massachusetts. OptumHealth assists individuals to navigate the healthcare system, finance their care and achieve health and well-being goals. OptumHealth includes more than 90,000 doctors nationwide.
