On June 8, Shannon Medical Center announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire River Crest Hospital, an 80-bed medical center focused on behavioral health and based in San Angelo, Texas. The seller was Universal Health Services, Inc. Shannon Medical Center, also located in San Angelo, Texas, is a medical center offering comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages.
