ARC Health Acquires Focus Forward Counseling & Consulting

ARC Health, a Thurston Group portfolio company, has announced the acquisition of Focus Forward Counseling & Consulting, Inc. (FFCC), a multilingual therapy practice with two locations in the Atlanta, Georgia area. This marks ARC Health’s third acquisition of October 2022. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. FFCC’s 27 psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists offer their services in Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, Danish, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish. The company provides child and adolescent counseling, LGBTQIA counseling, individual therapy, couples counseling and marriage and family resources. Thermo Fisher Acquires The Binding Site Group for $2.6 Billion

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. announced its acquisition of The Binding Site Group, a global specialist protein diagnostics company, from a shareholder group led by European private equity firm Nordic Capital, in an all-cash transaction valued at £2.25 billion, or $2.6 billion at current exchange rates. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2023. New York-based private equity firm Lee Equity Partners announced its acquisition of a majority ownership interest in Bradford Health Services, a substance use disorder treatment and recovery services provider in Birmingham, Alabama. Lee Equity acquired the company from private equity firm Centre Partners and certain other investors, with Centre Partners maintaining an ongoing equity stake.
