Novant Health Acquires Southeastern Spine Institute
Novant Health, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, announced that it acquired Mount Pleasant, South Carolina-based Southeastern Spine Institute (SSI) for an undisclosed price. Since it was established in 1990, SSI has provided a wide range of spine procedures, including surgery and nonsurgical care, rehabilitation, pain management, physical therapy and advanced imaging. More than 50% of SSI’s patients are from outside the greater Charleston, South Carolina area. SSI is located in a 65,000-square-foot facility on the campus of East Cooper Medical Center. On January 6, IVI RMA North America, a subsidiary of IVI RMA, announced that it acquired three fertility practices from Global Premier Fertility. Reproductive Health and Wellness Center (RHWC) is a fertility clinic based out of one location in Laguna Hills, California.
