Straine Dental Management Expands into 15th State

Straine Dental Management (SDM) announced that it expanded into its 15th state with the acquisition of SmileArts Dental. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.  SmileArts Dental has two locations in Oklahoma: Yukon and Oklahoma City. According to its website, there are two physicians on staff.  SDM is a dentist-owned, dentist-led dental services organization based in Sacramento, California. SDM has more than 35 affiliated practices.  This marks SDM’s third acquisition of 2025. On March 28, MB2 Dental Solutions announced four additional acquisitions that it completed in March.  Based in New York City, 80 Park Avenue is a dental practice run by two dentists.  Clear Creek Dentistry is a practice with one location in Silverdale, Washington. There are two physicians on staff, who are supported by a team of 13 employees.  Smith & Co Dental Practitioners is a family dentistry office with one location in Bel Air, Maryland. Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, based in Oxford, North Carolina, announced on March 25 that it was expanding its presence in its home state with the acquisition of two Night and Day Dental locations.   The two locations are in Concord and Independence, North Carolina. The number of physicians on staff at each location was not disclosed. Heartland Dental Announces Fifth Acquisition of 2025

On March 19, Heartland Dental, majority-owned by KKR, announced that it acquired Anchor Point Dental Care, its fifth acquisition of 2025. The financial terms were not disclosed.  Anchor Point Dental Care operates one location in Newport News, Virginia.
