Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center sold its ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in the same city for $8.95 million. The Lake Surgery Center was sold to Perkins Plaza Development, represented by orthopedic surgeon Larry “Chip” Bankston, MD. According to the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 27th ASC acquisition of 2022. Established in 2002, Lake Surgery Center is a 23,000-square-foot facility. Des Moines, Iowa Medical Office Building Sold
Fairfield Advisors announced that it facilitates the sale of a 17,000-square-foot medical office building in Des Moines, Iowa. The buyer in the transaction was not disclosed. The purchase price is $4.35 million, or $255 per square foot. The building, built in 2009, is anchored by MercyOne, one of the largest hospital systems in Iowa.
