Montecito Medical has completed the acquisition of a women’s health medical office building (MOB) in Lynchburg, Virginia. The property, which offers 21,657 square feet, is 100% occupied under a long-term lease by Women’s Health of Central Virginia.

The acquisition continues the expansion of Montecito’s footprint in central Virginia. Dana Hamric, CEO of Hamric Capital, arranged the transaction and served as the exclusive financial advisor to the seller, Women’s Health of Central Virginia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Montecito Medical Real Estate specializes in healthcare-related real estate acquisitions and funding. Since 2006, it has completed transactions across the U.S. involving more than $5 billion in medical real estate.

According to the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 190th MOB acquisition of 2022 and the 27th of the fourth quarter. This also marks Montecito Medical’s 42nd healthcare-related real estate acquisition of the year as of November 18, 2022.
