RadNet Acquires Six Imaging Centers in Houston MSA
RadNet, Inc. announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the assets of six imaging centers in the greater Houston, Texas MSA. This acquisition, which is anticipated to be completed before the end of the second quarter of 2024, is RadNet’s second announced transaction in the Houston area. Upon closing, the transaction will bring the number of RadNet centers in the Houston MSA to 13. The acquired assets include six imaging centers in the Houston MSA. Intermountain Medical Imaging announced on April 1 that it is acquiring Saltzer Health Imaging from Saltzer Health. Saltzer Health Imaging is an imaging center located in the Ten Mile Clinic and near I-84 in Meridian, Idaho. This news comes the same week Saltzer Health announced the sale of three facilities to Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System after the group was closed March 29 by Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health. Labcorp Acquires Select Assets of BioReference Health’s Diagnostics Business
Labcorp and OPKO Health announced on March 28 that they have entered into an agreement for Labcorp to acquire select assets of BioReference Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of OPKO Health. Through this transaction, Labcorp will acquire BioReference Health’s laboratory testing businesses focused on clinical diagnostics and reproductive and women’s health across the United States outside of New York and New Jersey.
