BayMark Health Services, a provider of substance abuse treatments, announced that it was acquiring Granite Recovery Centers, based in Salem, New Hampshire. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Granite Recovery Centers has two residential treatment facilities and several sober living homes throughout southern New Hampshire that serve adult patients from across New England and throughout the country. Granite Recovery Centers offers treatment for a variety of addictions including opioids, alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription drugs and other substances.
BayMark Health Services, a portfolio company of Webster Equity Partners, provides medication-assisted treatment for opiate addiction and dependency to more than 70,000 patients across 320 treatment facilities in 35 states and 3 Canadian provinces. The largest provider of Opioid Use Disorder services in North America and the leader in evidence-based treatment options for substance use disorders, BayMark’s continuum of care includes medication-assisted treatment, withdrawal management, counseling and other innovative support therapies in outpatient, inpatient and residential settings.
This acquisition expands and strengthens BayMark’s foothold in New Hampshire as it continues to grow its reach. In addition to Granite Recovery Centers, BayMark operates medication-assisted treatment facilities in Hudson, Newington, Salem and Somersworth, New Hampshire where it offers substance abuse treatments and counseling.
Earlier in December, BayMark also acquired Polaris Renewal Services, in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, which provides outpatient methadone maintenance and detoxification services combined with substance use counseling and behavioral therapies for an undisclosed price. Other companies that made several acquisitions in 2021 are Behavioral Health Group, Sevita, Sunrise Treatment Center, MindPath Health and Lighthouse Autism Center.
