Vision Innovation Partners, a leading eye care platform, announced that it had acquired Bel Air, Maryland-based Advanced Eye Care, a comprehensive eye care practice.
Run by Dr. Lisa K. Feulner, Advanced Eye Care provides a full spectrum of ophthalmic diagnostic and treatment services. Based in Bel Air, Maryland it offers its services to the surrounding area and, additionally, it has an onsite medspa.
Founded in 2017, Vision Innovation Partners, a portfolio company of Centre Partners, operates a network of ophthalmology service providers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Vision Innovation Partners’ footprint now includes nearly 60 practice locations and 10 surgery centers across Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Centre Partners is a leading middle-market private equity firm focused on the healthcare and consumer sectors. Founded in 1986, Centre has offices in New York and Los Angeles and has invested approximately $2.5 billion of equity capital in 88 transactions since its inception.
The acquisition further expands Vision Innovation Partners’ presence in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area and enhances its growing network of ophthalmology practices in the Mid-Atlantic region. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This is Vision Innovation Partners’ 21st transaction since it was founded. In 2021 it acquiredSee Clearly Vision in McLean, Virginia as well as Ophthalmic Associates in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, both ophthalmology practices.
