CCRM Fertility, a portfolio company of Unified Women’s Healthcare, announced its acquisition of RADfertility on December 6. This transaction marks CCRM Fertility’s second transaction of the year, where it previously acquired The Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Science in East Windsor, New Jersey.

CCRM Fertility has a network of physicians, embryologists and geneticists who deliver advanced fertility treatments, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), fertility assessment, fertility preservation, genetic testing, third-party reproduction and egg donation. CCRM Fertility has 34 locations across North America, serving patients in 12 major metropolitan areas. CCRM Fertility was acquired by Unified Women’s Healthcare, a portfolio company of Altas Partners and Ares Management, in June 2021.

RADfertility is a fertility center with six board certified reproductive endocrinologists and three offices in Delaware, including Newark, Wilmington and Dover.

The acquisition of RADfertility brings CCRM’s presence to 12 major metropolitan areas across 36 locations in the United States and Canada. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

According to the LevinPro HC database, this transaction is the 560th Physician Medical Groups acquisition of the year, 28 of which have been in the fertility specialty. Private equity and/or their portfolio companies represent the largest type of fertility acquirer, accounting for 79% of the transactions with 22 deals. In addition to Altas Partners and Ares Management, active acquirers have been InTandem Capital Partners through Ivy Fertility and Webster Equity Partners through Pinnacle Fertility.
