The national home health chain Senior Helpers has announced the acquisition of Miller Home Care, LLC, a home health agency based in Milwaukee. Miller Home Care provides in-home senior care, offering services ranging from companion care for seniors who need daily assistance to in-depth specialized care for those with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s and other chronic diseases.

No terms were disclosed. This is the first deal for Senior Helpers since it became a subsidiary of Advocate Aurora Enterprises, which is, in turn, a subsidiary of Advocate Aurora Health, one of the 12 largest not-for-profit, integrated health systems in the nation. Advocate Aurora Enterprise was formed to help the health system expand in the home health and personal wellness market, and this deal helps them further that mission. The new location represents Senior Helpers’ fifth corporate-owned store. It will help expand Advocate Aurora Enterprises’ market presence in the midwest.

Advocate Aurora purchased Senior Helpers just back in April from Altaris Capital Partners, which had helped Senior Helpers expand to more than 320 franchised and corporate-owned locations in 44 states.
