Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), a portfolio group of private equity firm Webster Equity Partners, announced on June 8 that it acquired Shore Heart Group for an undisclosed price. Shore Heart Group provides cardiac care across seven locations in New Jersey. According to its website, the practice is run by 23 physicians and eight physician assistants. RC Capital Acquires James River Cardiology
Cincinnati-based private equity firm, RC Capital, announced on May 31 that it acquired James River Cardiology. By partnering with James River Cardiology, RC Capital formed Aligned Cardiovascular Partners. Provident Healthcare Partners advised James River Cardiology and Kaufman & Canoles served as the legal counsel, while McDermott Will & Emery LLP served as legal counsel to RC Capital. The practices are Alafaya Family Dentistry in Oviedo; the practice of Dr. Mark Damerau in Palm Beach Gardens; and the practice of John S. Ledakis D.D.S. in West Palm Beach.
