NorthLakes Community Clinic Acquires Orthopedic & Spine Therapy  

On November 13, Orthopedic & Spine Therapy (OST), an orthopedic practice in Wisconsin, announced that select locations are being acquired by NorthLakes Community Clinic (NLCC).   The Bayfield, Iron River, Poplar and Solon Springs locations of OST will become part of NLCC’s network starting on December 18, 2022, according to the press release.    NLCC is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center that operates 16 clinics throughout 12 counties in Wisconsin. GTCR to Acquire Cloudbreak Health

GTCR has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cloudbreak Health, LLC in a corporate carve-out transaction from UpHealth, Inc.  Cloudbreak Health originally combined with UpHealth, Inc., formerly known as GigCapital2, Inc., and UpHealth Holdings, Inc. in November 2020. The latest Home-Based Care M&A Report from Mertz Taggart, a Fort Myers, Florida-based M&A firm, sheds light on the subdued M&A activity in the Home Health & Hospice (HH&H) sectors throughout 2023. While the second quarter showed a slight uptick, Q3 remained slow, raising concerns within the industry.
