Health Plans, Inc. (HPI) announced on July 11 that it acquired managed care organization Employers Health Network. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. HPI is a national third-party administrator that partners with health plan brokers and employers to provide self-funding strategies and customized plans, giving employers greater cost transparency and control. Dental Care Alliance announced that it acquired Nevid Dental in Pawling, New York, and Burleson Pediatric Dentistry in Burleson, Texas, for undisclosed prices. The acquisitions mark Dental Care Alliance’s fifth and sixth deals of 2022 and the company’s 11th deal in the LevinPro HC database. New Mountain Capital (NMC) announced that it is acquiring Emmes, a contract research organization (CRO) based in Rockville, Maryland, from Behrman Capital. Founded in 1999, New Mountain Capital is an investment firm taht manages more than $35 billion in assets. It is based in New York City with offices in San Francisco and London.
