VillageMD Acquires Starling Physicians
VillageMD, a subsidiary of Walgreens, announced on March 3 that it acquired Starling Physicians, a multi-specialty physician group based in Connecticut. Cain Brothers acted as an exclusive financial advisor to Starling Physicians. The financial terms were not disclosed. Starling Physicians provides a range of primary care services out of its 34 Connecticut locations. Agilon Health Acquires Family Practice Center
Agilon Health announced on February 28 that it acquired Family Practice Center, PC. Starting in 2024, the partnership will transition Family Practice Center to a full-risk, value-based care model for central Pennsylvania Medicare patients. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The practice of Patricia Lopez Po operates out of El Paso, Texas, and provides internal medicine care to the surrounding areas. The practice of Xavier J. Clairvest Group Acquires Bluetree Dental for $32 Million
Clairvest Group Inc., through Clairvest Equity Partners VI (CEP), announced that it purchased Bluetree Dental for $32 Million. Clairvest Group’s portion of the investment totaled $9 million. Clairvest Group is a Toronto-based private equity management firm with more than $2.4 billion (CAD $3.3 billion) of capital under management.
