MB2 Dental Solutions launched into 2024 with a strong start and lots of deal activity. As of January 23, 2024, the company has already announced its acquisition of five practices.   The practices are: Beautiful Smiles in Manasquan, New Jersey; Lehigh Acres and Fort Myers, Florida-based Caloosa Dental; the practice of Dr. Michael Rogers in El Cajon, California; Jean Chan, DDS & Associates based out of California; and Smile Loft, located in Silver Spring and Camp Springs, Maryland.   Together, the practices add 13 providers to MB2 Dental’s portfolio. Sight360, backed by California-based private equity firm SBJ Capital, announced on January 22 that it has combined with Florida Eye Specialists & Cataract Institute (FESCI). With this partnership, Sight360 expands their combined scope of care to more patients in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus and Polk Counties, Florida. Founded in 1981 by Dr. Gregory Henderson, FESCI serves patients on the west coast of Florida with the full scope of ophthalmology, optometry, cosmetic surgery and hearing services. AllerVie Health announced its acquisition of Allergy & Asthma Associates of DuPage, expanding the network’s reach to the Chicago MSA.  Allergy & Asthma Associates of DuPage is an allergist treating patients from two locations in Naperville and Downers Grove, Illinois. On January 11 Heartland Dental, backed by private equity firm KKR, announced that it made its first acquisition of the year with the purchase of Capstone Dental. The financial terms were not disclosed.  Capstone Dental is run by Dr. Steven Yang, the only physician on staff. Florida Eye Specialists, based in Jacksonville, Florida, announced that it acquired Florida Eye Specialists for an undisclosed price.  International Eye Associates is a premier eye care practice operating in Ormond Beach, Florida. According to its website, the practice is run by two physicians: Dr. Samantha Habhab and Dr. Kenzo Koike.  Florida Eye Specialists is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in northeast Florida, with services ranging from simple eye exams to complex surgeries.
