Arches Medical Partners Acquires 11 Internal Medicine Practices
On March 20, Arches Medical Partners announced that it purchased 11 internal medicine practices in Rhode Island from VillageMD. The 11 practices employ a total 55 providers, according to the original press release. Arches Medical Partners, founded in 2023, is a medical group management company. It is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This transaction is Arches’ first acquisition since it was formed. Sidley Austin provided Arches with legal representation. Terms were not disclosed. Panoramic Health announced on March 19 that it entered into an agreement to partner with The Kidney and Hypertension Center (KHC). KHC is one of the largest independent nephrology practices in Cincinnati, Ohio. According to its website, the practice has 34 physicians and 11 nurse practitioners on staff.
