On June 7, Heartland Dental, based in Effingham, Illinois, announced that it acquired Queens Road Dentistry, a one-physician practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. Queens Road Dentistry specializes in general dentistry care as well as orthodontic care. The practice is led by Dr. Forrest Norman and a support staff of three employees. Heartland Dental is a dental support organization providing non-clinical, administrative support services with more than 2,600 doctors in more than 1,650 locations across 38 states. U.S. Oral Surgery Management Acquires 3 Dental Practices
U.S. Oral Surgery Management (USOSM), a portfolio company of New York City-based private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners, announced that it was expanding its presence in Colorado, Kansas and California with the acquisition of three practices. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Led by Natalie J. Schafer, DDS, MS, Wheat Ridge Oral Surgery provides a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery.
