Empower Physical Therapy, a portfolio company of Chicago-based private equity firm Sheridan Capital Partners, announced on March 10 its acquisition of Spectrum Therapy Consultants for an undisclosed price.
Founded in 2006, Spectrum Therapy Consultants provides outpatient physical therapy services using a hands-on, individualized approach. These personalized treatments assist patients recovering from a range of health issues, including pain, orthopedic and neuromuscular problems, joint issues, post-operative conditions and sports and work-related injuries. The company operates seven locations across the El Paso, Texas metropolitan area.
Empower Physical Therapy provides physical therapy practice management services and operates outpatient physical therapy clinics throughout the southeastern United States. With the addition of Spectrum Therapy Consultants, Empower Physical Therapy now operates 53 clinics across Arizona, California, Louisiana and Texas.
