ARCH Medical Solutions Corp., a platform company of The Jordan Company, announced on March 6 that it acquired Bettanini’s Custom Manufacturing, located in Sonora, California.
Bettanini’s Custom Manufacturing is a contract manufacturer of precision-machined components for the surgical robotics, defense, aerospace and specialized components markets.
Bettanini’s Custom Manufacturing will join ARCH Medical Solutions, bolstering ARCH as a diversified supplier noted for growth and scale within the medical device contract manufacturing market. The acquired business features expertise that aligns well with ARCH Medical Solutions’ Sonora-based facility and will be integrated into this business unit as part of a 16,000-square-foot facilities expansion.
ARCH Medical Solutions is a consolidated contract manufacturer for orthopedic and dental implants and instruments, as well as components and subassemblies for robotic-assisted surgical equipment and medical devices.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this was the fourth contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) transaction of 2023. This is a notable decrease from January 1, 2022, through March 6, 2022, when there were 10 CDMO deals. There were 39 CDMO deals announced during 2022.
