On January 9, a medical office building (MOB) portfolio in Atlanta and Rome, Georgia was sold by Healthcare Realty Trust, Inc. to AW Property Company. The transaction was financed by Ally Bank. Terms were not disclosed.
The portfolio consists of nine buildings that total 350,000 square feet. Anchored by Harbin Clinic and First Georgia Physicians Group, the facilities were 90% leased. Other tenants include Piedmont, Northside Hospital and Fresenius Medical Care.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the fifth MOB transaction of 2023. In 2022, Healthcare Realty Trust completed two MOB transactions that totaled $38.8 million in disclosed prices and added 115,757 square feet to its portfolio.
