Vivo Infusion, a Lakewood, Colorado-based provider of infusion and injection care for patients suffering from compromised immune systems, infectious diseases and other medical conditions, announced on September 15 its acquisition of Infusion Center of Pennsylvania for an undisclosed price.

Edgemont Partners served as the exclusive financial advisor to Infusion Center of Pennsylvania.

Infusion Center of Pennsylvania is a locally-owned, non-hospital infusion provider. The company began serving patients in 2011 as a home infusion provider under its specialty pharmacy, Healthcare Evolution. It has since added four ambulatory centers throughout Pennsylvania and will soon open two in New Jersey.

Vivo Infusion serves communities in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Texas with plans to expand into additional states. Private equity firm InTandem Capital Partners created Vivo Infusion by merging MPP Infusion Centers and ID Consultants in March 2022.

According to the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 381st Other Services transaction of 2022 and the 15th deal in the infusion services subsector. The largest acquirer in the infusion services space this year has been Irwin Naturals Inc., which has made three acquisitions since May 2022. Irwin Naturals acquired New England Ketamine PLLC and KHC Capital Group, LLC in May, followed by Invictus Clinics, LLC in August.

The acquisition will lead to expansion of Vivo Infusion’s footprint into Pennsylvania and New Jersey, creating 30 ambulatory infusion centers throughout seven states.
