DOMA has acquired MPA Services, an intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) provider headquartered in Sidney, Ohio.

Founded in 2003, MPA Services specializes in unlocking the potential of individuals with disabilities by providing community support, daily living assistance and adult day programs across several Ohio counties (Allen, Auglaize, Mercer, Darke, Miami, Shelby and Logan counties).

Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, DOMA is a healthcare and human services organization that specializes in community living and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Agenda Health acted as exclusive sell-side advisor to MPA Services. The Austin, Texas-based healthcare-focused M&A advisory firm announced the deal in a May 19 LinkedIn post.

Through this partnership, DOMA will now serve residents throughout the Dayton, Ohio MSA area. Financial terms were not disclosed.

This deal follows DOMA’s June 2025 acquisition of Payee Support Services, which marked its entry into the state of Ohio. Agenda Health also acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor in that transaction.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this deal represents the 36th Behavioral Health Care (BHC) transaction of the year, and the seventh in the I/DD care specialty. Throughout 2025, there were 105 BHC deals, and 12 in the I/DD specialty. The specialty is the fourth most active BHC specialty this year, trailing behind counseling & psychiatric care (11 deals), autism spectrum disorder treatment provider (10 deals) and substance use disorder treatment (eight deals).

Other acquirers in the space this year have been Eden Futures (acquired Complesso), Nouvita Healthcare (acquired six I/DD companies), Sidekick Therapy Partners (acquired Word of Mouth Clinical Associates), Proficio Therapy Services (acquired Child’s Play Therapy Services), ncgCARE (acquired Broadstep Behavioral Health‘s assets) and Iris Care Group (acquired Awelon Healthcare).
