Nationwide provider Foresight Mental Health acquired Psychiatric Addictive Curative Therapies (PACT) Atlanta LLC, a multidisciplinary mental health practice that is headquartered in Decatur, Georgia.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Berkeley, California, Foresight Mental Health provides in-person and virtual services such as psychiatry, therapy, neuropsychology and TMS across 25 states. Foresight’s care team is supported by nutritionists, software engineers, data scientists and researchers. Last July, Foresight completed a Series B funding round, raising $25 million.
PACT operates 14 clinics in the Atlanta area, with its care teams consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, licensed practical counselors and social workers. PACT provides behavioral therapies including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine along with offering medications and telehealth services. It was founded in 1996.
Foresight Mental Health’s acquisition of PACT strengthens its position in Georgia and allows for PACT to reach more patients. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This is the fifth Behavior Health Care acquisition of the month and the 17th of 2022. Out of the 17 this year, 10 of them were purchased by private equity companies such as Webster Equity Partners, Revelstoke Capital Partners and SBJ Capital. This continues a trend we’ve seen across all sectors of private equity playing a large role in the healthcare M&A market, proving the market is strong.
