Residential Home Health has acquired Covenant Home Health of Havertown, Pennsylvania, expanding its presence across eastern Pennsylvania and strengthening its reach into Philadelphia and Delaware counties.
Covenant Home Health provides home health services across Pennsylvania’s Bucks, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery, Philadelphia and York counties.
Residential Home Health delivers skilled home health, palliative and hospice care across Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania. It works alongside physicians and healthcare partners to provide in-home care throughout different stages of a patient’s healthcare journey. Graham Healthcare Group, the parent organization behind Residential Home Health, is a subsidiary of Graham Holdings Company.
The transaction builds on Covenant’s local relationships and clinical teams while adding the broader resources and infrastructure of Residential Home Health and Graham Healthcare Group.
Residential Home Health plans to retain Covenant Home Health employees as part of the integration. The transition is intended to be seamless for patients, families, referral partners and staff, and current patients will continue receiving care without interruption. Covenant Private Duty, the non-medical home care arm of the Covenant organization, will remain unchanged, with no changes to its ownership or service offerings.
Ben Bogan and Ted Cohen of Stoneridge Partners served as the exclusive advisors to Covenant Home Health in the transaction. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 28th Home Health & Hospice (HH&H) transaction announced in 2026. This also marks the first HH&H deal announced in Pennsylvania this year. There were 111 HH&H deals announced during full year (FY) 2025, 98 announced during FY 2024 and 100 announced during FY 2023.
