Triumphant Transition Partners announced that it acted as an advisor to Dr. Francisco Perez as he joined Specialty1 Partners.
The practice of Dr. Francisco Perez is based in Edinburg, Texas. Dr. Perez, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, is the only physician on staff.
Specialty1 Partners, backed by private equity firm VSS Capital Partners, is the parent company of dental-surgical partnerships Endo1 Partners, Perio1 Partners and OS1 Partners. It maintains and scales practices to optimize performance and turn goals into reality. Specialty1 has established partnerships with more than 225 practices and has a network of more than 350 specialists across 28 states.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Additionally, this marks Specialty1 Partners’ second deal of the year; earlier in February it acquired West Shore Oral Surgery, based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
According to data captured in the LevinPro, this deal marks the 83rd Physician Medical Group (PMG) transaction of the year, and the 35th in the dental specialty. Throughout 2025, 521 PMG deals were reported, and 251 in the dental market. The PMG volume in 2026 accounts for more than 23% of the 352 healthcare transactions that have been announced, so far.
