SALT Dental Partners announced that it expanded its presence in New York and Virginia with the acquisition of the practice of Dr. Julia Cerny and Hampton Oral & Facial Surgery.
Hampton Oral & Facial Surgery operates out of one location in Hamptons, Virginia. According to its website, the practice offers a full scope of dental services and is run by a team of three dentists: Dr. Brad Trotter, Dr. Koby Ferguson and Dr. Kyle Lee.
The practice of Julia Cerny is based in Latham, New York. Dr. Cerny provides the full scope of dental care, and fully joined SALT’s team on February 5, 2026.
Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, SALT Dental Partners is a dental partnership organization specializing in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, with more than 90 locations across 13 states. SALT is a portfolio company of Latticework Capital Partners, a Dallas, Texas-based private equity firm.
With these acquisitions, SALT Dental has announced four transactions in 2026. The financial terms for neither of the transactions were disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro, there have been 78 Physician Medical Group (PMG) transactions announced since the start of the year, and 32 dental transactions. There were 521 PMG deals reported in 2025, including 251 in the dental market. Additionally, PMG volume in 2026 accounts for almost 24% of the 328 healthcare transactions that have been announced this year, so far.
