EMS Management & Consultants has acquired Health Services Integration (HSI), according to a February 9 press release. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
HSI is a specialized air medical billing company dedicated to supporting air medical providers through complex reimbursement, payer relations and revenue integrity. The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Santa Rosa, California.
EMS Management & Consultants is a leading provider of revenue cycle management (RCM), compliance and operational solutions for fire, emergency medical services (EMS) and mobile healthcare organizations nationwide. The company supports more than 1,500 fire, EMS and mobile healthcare agencies nationwide, processing more than 6 million EMS claims annually. The company has developed EMSmart®, a patented revenue cycle technology.
Through this acquisition, EMS Management & Consultants will offer air medical providers a more unified solution, combining HSI’s air medical billing expertise with EMSmart® technology, national compliance resources, regulatory insight and operational scale.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 32nd eHealth acquisition of 2026, and the sixth in the RCM specialty. There were 55 RCM deals in 2025, which made up approximately 17% of the 301 eHealth deals announced throughout the year.

- Private equity firm Lead Capital Partners acquires PedsOne, a Winooski, Vermont-based provider of outsourced revenue cycle management services.
- EnableComp acquires Health Resources Optimization, a premier clinical denials and revenue recovery firm serving top health systems in the Northeast.
