Smile Doctors announced on February 9 that it ended 2025 with the addition of eight more practices to its network: Phamily Orthodontics in Pennsylvania, Embrace Orthodontics in Minnesota, VanLaecken Orthodontics in South Dakota, GKG Orthodontics in Pennsylvania, Hoch Orthodontics in New Jersey, Seder Orthodontics in Illinois, Adams Orthodontics in Georgia and Caples & Robinson Orthodontics in Louisiana.
Smile Doctors, an orthodontic dental support organization, is a portfolio company of Linden Capital Partners and Thomas H. Lee Partners. It is based in Dallas, Texas.
With these additions, Smile Doctors now supports more than 580 locations across 36 states. The transactions also add more than 20 physicians to Smile Doctors network. None of the terms were disclosed.
In 2025, Smile Doctors added 12 practices to its portfolio, including myOrthos, a dental service organization with 70 affiliated locations in 13 states.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 69th Physician Medical Group (PMG) transaction reported since the start of 2026, and the 28th in the dental specialty. There were 521 PMG deals reported throughout 2025, including 251 in the dental market. Additionally, PMG volume in 2026 accounts for 24% of the 286 healthcare transactions that have been announced, so far.
