On November 6, Prism Vision Group announced its first acquisition of the year with the purchase of Spokane Eye Clinic.
Spokane Eye Clinic is a leading eye care practice with four locations in Spokane, Washington. According to its website, there are 26 physicians on staff.
Prism Vision Group (formerly known as NJ/Retina), a portfolio company of McKesson Corporation, is a physician-led ophthalmology administrative services care provider. Launched in July 2019, Prism has 870 locations, more than 150 providers and more than 1,300 employees throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
This is Prism’s first acquisition since it was purchased by McKesson in April as part of McKesson’s Oncology & Multispecialty segment. Terms were not disclosed.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 424th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025, and the 25th in the eye care specialty. There were 26 eye care transactions reported in 2024 and 48 in 2023.
