INNOCURA Nephrology announced on November 3 that it entered into an agreement to acquire Kidney Care Centers (KCC).

KCC is a nephrology practice based in New Jersey. Formed in 2024 through the merger of six leading New Jersey-based nephrology practices, KCC united a highly respected group of nephrologists serving kidney disease patients across the state. It is run by Dr. Spiros Arbes. The total number of physicians was not disclosed.

INNOCURA Nephrology is a national nephrology platform. By building an integrated national nephrology platform, INNOCURA advances innovation in clinical care, strengthens operational performance, and supports nephrologists to thrive within an evolving healthcare landscape.

With the addition of KCC, INNOCURA’s network of affiliated practices now includes 75 clinicians caring for kidney disease patients across Georgia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. KCC joins Partners in Nephrology & Endocrinology and Georgia Kidney & Hypertension Clinic as part of INNOCURA’s growing network of affiliated practices.

According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 419th Physician Medical Group (PMG) acquisition of 2025, and the first in the nephrology specialty. There were three nephrology transactions reported in 2024 and nine in 2023.
