On October 1, Nuvia Medical announced that it added a pediatrics group to its network with the acquisition of Boca Pediatric Group.
Boca Pediatric Group is based in Boca Raton, Florida. There is one physician on staff (Dr. Alberto Luchtan) who is supported by a team of five.
Nuvia Medical is a network of primary care practices that offers management service organization support. It has a network of 130 fully integrated and affiliate physicians and nearly 70,000 patients across Central and South Florida.
“Boca Pediatrics has long been a cornerstone of pediatric care in South Florida,” said John Alldredge, CEO of Nuvia Medical. “Their values align deeply with ours—providing proactive, personalized care that truly puts the patient first. We’re honored to join forces and continue their legacy of excellence.” Terms were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 368th Physician Medical Group (PMG) acquisition of 2025, and the 14th in the pediatrics specialty. There were only four pediatric acquisitions announced during full year (FY) 2024, and 11 in FY 2023. Pediatrics accounts for nearly 4% of the PMG transactions announced in 2025. Additionally, this marks Nuvia Medical’s first acquisition of the year.
