EyeSouth Partners announced its expansion into Michigan with the acquisition of Sunvera Group. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Sunvera Group is a management services organization (MSO) that provides management and administrative solutions to ophthalmology practices and ambulatory surgery centers in the Midwest. Sunvera Group supports more than 16 practices, 45 physicians, 23 ophthalmology clinics and four ambulatory surgery centers in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
EyeSouth Partners, a portfolio company of Olympus Partners since 2022, is an eye care services organization in the Southeast. EyeSouth’s affiliate network consists of more than 40 practices with more than 300 doctors providing care services at more than 180 locations. EyeSouth supports its affiliated practices and physician partners with strategic guidance, administrative resources, operating expertise and capital.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 280th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025 and the fourth in the MSO specialty. Throughout 2024, there were 15 MSO transactions reported.
This is also EyeSouth Partners’ third acquisition of 2025. Previously, it acquired St. Lucie Eye, a six-physician practice with three locations in Florida, and Retina Institute of Illinois, a 10-physician practice with eight locations in the Chicago MSA.
