On July 30, IVI RMA announced its second transaction of the year with the acquisition of ART Fertility Clinics‘ operations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
ART Fertility Clinics is based in Abu Dhabi and is a leading provider of fertility services across the Middle East and India. The scope of the transaction includes the three clinics. The assets are being acquired from Gulf Capital, an alternative investment firm focused on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and the majority shareholder in ART Fertility Clinics.
IVI RMA is one of the world’s leading reproductive medicine groups. The company operates more than 195 clinical offices and more than 95 laboratories across 15 countries. It has more than 465 physicians under its umbrella.
This acquisition will expand IVI RMA Global’s footprint across the GCC region. Completion of the transaction remains subject to satisfaction of regulatory conditions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 33rd health clinic acquisition of the year. Throughout 2024, there were 49 health clinic acquisition announcements, and 39 in 2023.
