On May 13, Montecito Medical Real Estate, based in Nashville, Tennessee, announced that it acquired a medical outpatient building (MOB) portfolio in Northwest Georgia. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. 

The MOB portfolio comprises seven facilities and totals 308,145 square feet. The buildings are in Rome, Calhoun, Adairsville and Cartersville, Georgia, and are part of the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell MSA. All buildings are 100% occupied by The Harbin Clinic

Montecito Medical specializes in healthcare-related real estate acquisitions and funding. Since 2006, it has completed more than $6.5 billion in medical and veterinary real estate transactions. 

The transaction brings the number of properties in Georgia acquired by Montecito in 2025 to 12. 

“We continue to be attracted by the fundamentals of the healthcare market we see in Georgia and the number of excellent opportunities we see here in medical real estate,” said Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical.  

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 76th MOB acquisition of 2025, and Montecito Medical’s 14th deal of the year. There were 212 MOB transactions reported throughout 2024, and 198 reported in 2023.
