DermCare Management, LLC announced the acquisition of three dermatology practices in Texas.
Skin Cancer Specialists operates out of four locations in Texas: Sugar Land, Conroe, Houston and Katy. According to its website, there are two physicians and three physician assistants on staff.
Team Dermatology is based in Sugar Land, Texas. The practice is run by one physician: Dr. Asra Ali.
Clear Creek Dermatology is based in three Texas locations. According to its website, there are three physicians on staff, as well as two physician assistants.
DermCare Management, a portfolio company of New York-based private equity firm Hildred Capital Management since October 2019, is a physician practice management company with clinics in California, Florida and Texas. It was founded in 2017 as a group of five founding practices including 15 South Florida locations.
This expansion strengthens DermCare’s presence in Texas with nine additional locations. With these new partnerships DermCare now manages more than 90 practice locations. This deal was announced alongside DermCare Management’s acquisition of a medical spa: Sona MedSpa, the company’s first acquisition in the medspa space.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 127th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025 and the eighth in the dermatology specialty. This is also DermCare Management’s first transaction of the year. In 2024, the company purchased six dermatology practices.
