On April 11, Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL) announced a partnership with Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) where CCP will join CVL’s team.
CCP is a cardiology practice with 32 locations in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania MSA. According to its website, there are more than 90 cardiologists and 50 advanced practice providers on staff. CCP is affiliated with nearly every major hospital in the region, allowing it to refer patients to the most appropriate institutions for their care.
CVL is one of the most comprehensive cardiovascular platforms in the country. Formed in 2013, the company is integrating the nation’s best cardiology practices into one robust cardiovascular solution. CVL is partners with Lee Equity Partners, a New York-based private equity firm.
This partnership expands CVL’s footprint from about 300 to 440 providers and grows its team from 2,100 to 2,800 members. The financial terms were not disclosed.
“This is a pivotal moment not just for our organization, but for cardiovascular care nationwide,” said David Konur, CEO of CVL. “CCP is a clinical and operational leader in its region, and our partnership reflects a shared commitment to fundamentally changing how cardiovascular care is delivered in the United States.”
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 125th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025 and the fifth in the cardiology specialty. This is also CVL’s first acquisition since 2023, when it purchased three practices.
